This course is designed to make the graduates coming from rural background to be at ease with English. The graduates from vernacular background have the basic knowledge of the English language, but they are not adept to speak fluently. It is sometimes difficult for them to pronounce certain words correctly. This makes them to lose confidence and they are not able to (ace the interviews confidently specially interviews conducted by a company for placement in India and abroad. The emphasis is given on correct pronunciation. conversation, group discussion, public speaking, presentation and personality development. The course is of 3-month duration, thrice a week. MMERC runs two batches for this course; one is for graduates coming from economic backward areas who are unable to bear the cost of the AECC. The second is of graduates already recruited by private companies and this course is run on special request of the companies and is partially paid.
