Markazul Ma’arif, under its Dept. of Healthcare & Sanitation had established a 20 bed Hospital named “AL-SALAM HOSPITAL” at Goalpara and AWHAQ Hospital (30 bed) at Dhing- the bordering area of Nagaon & Morigaon Districts, the third one – Badarpur Hospital (50 bed) at Malwa, Badarpur in Karimganj. The Organization also holds Medical Camps in flood affected and epidemic prone areas, distributes medicines and extends financial assistance to the needy ailing people for their treatment. In addition, it also holds free Eye Operation camps in association with District Blindness Control Society
MARKAZ DRINKING WATER SUPPLY SCHEME
Markazul Ma’arif makes arrangements for supply of pure drinking water by digging wells and installing hand pumps in areas where people have little access to table water. During the rainy season and in flood affected areas, volunteers of Markaz visit remote villages and create awareness about water born diseases and how to make it safe for drinking. Materials such as bleaching powder, alum, hydrated lime etc are supplied in areas where the need arise
